Texas State Optical, TSO Woodlands is an independently owned optometry practice dedicated to providing excellence in eye care and optical services for The Woodlands, Spring, and surrounding north Houston communities. After practicing for five years as a partner in a private practice in southeast Houston, Dr. Linh Yee-Young moved to The Woodlands and opened TSO Woodlands in February 2008. TSO Woodlands is affiliated with the Texas State Optical network of Doctors of Optometry, who have cared for the eyes of Texas for over 75 years. We are also independently unique in order to cater to the needs of the patients within our community.

Dr. Young and her husband, Ryan, decided to relocate to The Woodlands to be closer to their family and with the hopes of starting a family of their own. Strong family values have always been the core backbone of Dr. Young’s upbringing, so it was her desire to build her practice around those beliefs. Her practice philosophy is caring for patients through good communication while earning their trust, just as you would trust a family member. As a patient, trusting your doctor is crucial to understanding your eye care needs so that you can maintain healthy vision thorughout your lifetime.

In addition to the growing family at TSO Woodlands, Dr. Young and her husband became proud parents to a daughter named Brooklyn less than a year after opening the office in 2009. In 2012, they once again expanded the family and welcomed another daughter named Ella.
